We looked at 'why church' on Sunday, recognising that we are part of a very big family that on one level is helping to heal and restore nations, while at the same time doing things that leave us shaking our heads with disbelief.
To acknowledge the wrong that has been done under the so called banner of the church (Crusades, abuse, divisions etc.) and still see the dream and belief that God has for His church can be challenging if we don't look beyond the voices of those unable to see the beauty and power of this Ecclesia.
Yes we are called His bride, His body, and His people and under the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit are destined to usher in the kingdom and share in His eternal promises - not bad for a people who don't always get it right.
Lets keep our lives and agendas committed to being a people who live out this great dream.
